We all know a single-day demo of any equipment is not enough to evaluate the efficacy of a machine. Also, if you have not used that kind of machine on any client or patient, then be assured the laser vendor either goes safe and does the treatment on the minimal setting, which is just an introduction or exposure to that laser, as he or she (the vendor) is too afraid of the post-side effects in case they go aggressive on treatment parameters.

We have a solution to that: we provide our laser machines on rent for a month, where doctors can use the machine for the entire month and do R&D on treatment parameters—figuring out how high or how low is best. This way, the doctor will know the true capacity of the machine and have clarity on claims vs reality. Usually, good quality machines range from 5-20 lakhs. So, in order to go for such a huge investment, one must know whether the investment is even worth it. What if the patients for that machine are not enough to reimburse the investment? For example, if you buy a Real Picolaser, the price is more than 50 lakhs, and the average patient volume is just 2 lakhs per month. I suggest not to go for this purchase, as the golden rule is you should reimburse your laser investment from any machine within 1 year, usually the warranty period.
